Setlume is not a law firm

Setlume provides intake, comparison, routing, and administrative support. Setlume does not provide legal advice, legal representation, conveyancing services, title advice, mortgage advice, tax advice, or notarial services.

No provider relationship through Setlume

Submitting a request or viewing a quote does not create a lawyer-client, notary-client, or other professional relationship with Setlume or any provider. A professional relationship begins only if you and a provider separately agree to work together.

Quotes are estimates

Quotes depend on the information submitted and the assumptions listed by each provider. Final fees, disbursements, taxes, title costs, lender requirements, urgency, file complexity, and scope can change.

Provider selection

Setlume may route requests to selected providers based on location, transaction type, availability, stated fit, and operational constraints. You remain responsible for deciding whether to hire a provider.

Provider payments

Setlume may charge providers for platform, advertising, administrative, or pilot participation services. Provider payment arrangements must comply with applicable professional obligations and must not compromise independent professional judgment, client choice, confidentiality, or provider duties.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information, reviewing each quote, confirming scope directly with any provider, and acting promptly on closing deadlines. Do not delay urgent legal advice while waiting for Setlume.

Privacy and consent

By submitting a request, you authorize Setlume to use and disclose the submitted information as described in the Privacy Policy so selected providers can review the request and respond.

Changes

Setlume may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Setlume after changes means you accept the updated terms.
