What we collect
Setlume collects contact details, transaction details, property and mortgage context, intake details you choose to provide, provider quote responses, messages, and website analytics. We collect this information to review your request, route it to suitable providers, return quotes, operate the platform, prevent abuse, and maintain records.
Sensitive information
Real estate intake can include sensitive identity, citizenship, address, mortgage, signing, and title information. Only provide information that is needed for quote review. Do not use Setlume for legal advice, privileged instructions, or urgent legal deadlines.
How we share information
After internal review, Setlume may share relevant request details with selected BC lawyers, notaries, or their authorized staff so they can assess fit and provide a quote. We do not publicly sell intake records. Providers receive private links scoped to the request.
Security and retention
Setlume uses access controls, private token links, database row-level security, server-side credentials, and rate limiting. We keep records for as long as reasonably needed for operations, disputes, audit, legal, and compliance purposes, then delete or anonymize them when practical.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational limits. You may also ask us not to route a request further. If a provider has already received your information, we may need to coordinate with that provider separately.
